TOday went like a draem !
Our sound desk worked OK - be it an old one but it was good !
Presenters were great and the crew worked tirelessly and are a bunch of dedicated kids so we are very proud of them

MVTV 23 June 2015

Well... the only explanation we had for this mornings show was it was the soundboard !
One of the crew explained it to a teacher as it all turned to custard !

Just before the show the sound went and no matter what we did it didn't work properly....

We did the show but it was not good !

The children all came back at lunchtime and we re did the show - with another old sound board and it went like clockwork ! We had a few glitches during the show but it was still better than before !
We have only had to do this about 4 times in 10 years so thats pretty good

We had great fun today - we were understaffed as different children were away at sport or had tests or were actually away so we all had to do lots of other jobs to get the show ready.

Where do we start ??
We didnt have our normal time yesterday to get the show ready so this morning we had 30 minutes to put it all together ! And the crew were all here at 7:30 this morning knowing what we had to do !
We had script sort of finished, the videos done and then no graphics, and Tessa finished them for us !
Everyone worked solidly for 35 minutes and got it all done !
A mammoth task and we succeeded !

Well done to the MVTV crew !

then we had to sort presenters so the crew stepped in and did it !

Yep ! - we were correct - we changed the box over this morning to a new one and "BINGO" it was OK

So much better - less stress and less panic just before the show when you loose connection !

We had some issues with the Camilla output for the weather but it seemed to resolve itself by the real show.. we are suspecting the converter box so we must look into that deeper !
